It serves to automatically start the water supply to the grinder chamber and the rinsing nozzles of the bowl simultaneously with turning on the grinder. This eliminates the need for manual water activation for device operation. The valve thus ensures not only water savings but especially the protection of the machine itself, which must not be started without ensuring the water flow.
