Installation of a garbage disposal in a household at a reduced 15% VAT rate.

Act No. 235/2004 Coll. (Value Added Tax Act) §48a, allows the installation of a waste shredder and all related activities associated with it to be included in the reduced 15% VAT rate for social housing construction. For households, this means an apartment not exceeding a total area of 120m2 and a family house not exceeding an area of 350m2.

Assembly of the shredder by our company includes

Mechanical fastening for sink drain, professional connection to waste, connection of dishwasher, washing machine, overflow, embedding of air switch into sink or worktop (if needed), pressure test, user training, practical advice and tips. We always use new HT pipes, HT connecting elements, and smell traps (siphons) specially designed for connecting domestic waste disposers during installation. The whole system is then tested, demonstrated, and handed over to the new owner, along with a user manual and handover protocol.
